Dev Khanal left out as Karnali Yaks announce retention

Karnali Yaks have named their retention for the second season of the Nepal Premier League. The list is led by marquee player Sompal Kami, who captained the side to the playoffs in Season 1.

Seasoned allrounder Gulshan Jha continues with the team along with Nandan Yadav, who impressed during Nepal’s tour of Scotland. The Yaks have also shown trust in uncapped players Arjun Gharti, Dipendra Rawat, and Unish Bikram Thakuri.

Talent hunt pick from last season Bipin Sharma, who had a breakout debut and is currently leading Nepal U16, also makes it to the retained squad.

Big names like Dev Khanal, Rit Gautam, Mousam Dhakal, Bhuwan Karki, and Deepak Dumre have been released.

Retained Players: Sompal Kami, Gulshan Jha, Nandan Yadav, Bipin Sharma, Arjun Gharti, Dipendra Rawat, and Unish Bikram Thakuri.
