West Indies ‘A’ to tour Nepal for Twenty20 series
West Indies ‘A’ team are confirmed to tour Nepal for a five-match Twenty20 series before the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2024.
Both the Cricket Association of Nepal and the Cricket West Indies announced the series through their social media handles on Monday.
The series will get underway from the 25th April to the 5th of April with all matches taking place in TU International Cricket Ground. Nepal are participating in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup in Oman from the 12th of April.
The global event, the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup, is scheduled to take place in the West Indies and the USA from 2nd June this year. Nepal are placed in Group ‘D’ along with Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and the Netherlands.
Likewise, the West Indies are slotted in Group ‘C’ with Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda.
