Sudurpaschim Royals retain seven players led by core pace attack

Sudurpaschim Royals have announced their retention list for the third season of the Nepal Premier League as the two-time runners-up look to go one step further in the upcoming campaign.

Marquee player Dipendra Singh Airee continues to lead the franchise's core group. Wicketkeeper-batter Binod Bhandari, the team's leading run-scorer from the previous season, has also been retained alongside Ishan Pandey and Aarif Sheikh.

The Royals have also kept faith in their pace attack, retaining joint leading wicket-taker from the second season, Abinash Bohara along with medium pacers Hemant Dhami and Hikmat Mahara.

The franchise has released Dipak Bohara, Milan Bohara, Tek Rawat, Naren Saud and Dipendra Thapa ahead of the player auction.

Retained players: Dipendra Singh Airee, Binod Bhandari, Ishan Pandey, Aarif Sheikh, Abinash Bohara, Hemant Dhami, Hikmat Mahara.

Released players: Dipak Bohara, Milan Bohara, Tek Rawat, Naren Saud, Dipendra Thapa.
