United Arab Emirates (UAE) defeated Oman by 25 runs in a competitive league two match, thanks to a brilliant bowling performance from Ajay Kumar.

Ajay Kumar delivered a magnificient spell where he took six wickets giving 35 runs in 9.5 overs, three of those wickets came in his last over.

Batting first, UAE posted a strong total of 268/7 in 50 overs. Aryansh Sharma led the innings with an impressive 105 off 125 balls, while Adeeb Usmani scored 64 and Harpreet Singh added 54.

The middle order chipped in with useful contributions to push UAE to a challenging total.

In reply, Oman got off to a flying start, reaching 85 without loss in the 14th over. However, their innings lost momentum as they slipped to 140/5 and later 171/6 under pressure.

Vinayak Shukla (58 not out) and Jiten Ramanandi (19) tried to revive the chase with a 59-run partnership, but it was not enough.
