Surprised Kohli responds with a million-dollar expression

India captain Virat Kohli didn’t lose his cool but described his disappointment with a million-dollar expression that will have netizens talking about for a while after Pakistan outplayed India for the first time in their World Cup history.

Pakistan outclassed India by 10 wickets at the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in Dubai sweeping away the inaugural edition champions with a display that took everyone by surprise. A terrific spell from left arm seamer Shaheen Shah Afridi had India restricted to 151-6 in 20 overs.

Pakistan only needed their skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to do the job as the openers stitched in a 152-run unbroken stand for the first wicket winning the game with 13 balls to spare.

While Indian batsmen struggled to score freely, Rizwan struck a 55-ball 79 and Babar scored a 52-ball 68 to take the game away from India in no time.

The first victory for Pakistan in any World Cup match could have been the biggest in their cricket history but a single question at the post match press conference was Kohli’s another disappointment after the humiliating defeat.

Asked if the team should have picked up Ishan Kishan ahead of Rohit Sharma, Kohli slightly bended his head towards the journalist with massive surprise evident in his eyes.

“Its a very brave question. What do you think sir? I played the team I thought was the best. What is your opinion? Will you drop Rohit Sharma from T20 Internationals? You know what he did in the last game we played yeah?” Kohli replied.

The Indian captain shook his head and smiled saying “unbelievable” while covering his face with his hand looking dowards. “If you want controversy please tell me before, so I can according to that,” Kohli lightly told the journalist.

Rohit and his opening partner were undone by a dream deliveries for a fast bowler. Afridi threw in a full lenght in-swinger yorking Rohit, for a duck, who was facing the youngster in the fourth ball of the Indian innings.

Afridi returned in the third over and produced a late swing to bowl KL Rahul through his bat and pads. A half century from Kohli and some gritty innings from Rishabh Pant had taken India to a respectable total.
