Armed Police Force Club registered their third win of the PM Cup with a 45-run victory over Sudurpaschim Province in Janakpur on Monday, handing Sudurpaschim their second defeat.

Put in to bat, APF posted a competitive 259 for 9, built around a brisk half-century from Sundeep Jora. He struck 55 off 45 balls, hitting nine fours and a six to set the tone. Lokesh Bam (47), Dipak Bohara (46) and Sumit Maharjan (41) added useful contributions through the middle to take APF past the 250 mark.

Sudurpaschim’s bowlers kept things in check without fully breaking through. Captain Sher Malla led the effort with 3 for 45, while Bikash Aagri and Ashok Dhami picked up two wickets each. Hemant Dhami and Naren Bhatta claimed one apiece.

In reply, Sudurpaschim fell short at 214 in 46.3 overs. Ashok Dhami top-scored with a 43-ball 50, striking seven fours and a six, while Abhishek Pal made 44 at the top. But the chase lacked momentum as wickets fell at regular intervals.

Legspinner Yuvraj Khatri was the standout performer, returning 5 for 34 from his 10 overs to derail the chase. Abhisesh Gautam provided support with 2 for 32, while Kamal Singh Airee and Rohit Paudel chipped in with a wicket each to seal the win.
