Subash breaches the code of conduct

Nepal’s Under-19 off break bowler, Subash Bhandari has received a demerit point and reprimand for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the ICC U19 Men�s Cricket World Cup match against Pakistan in East London on 24 January.

The incident occurred at the end of the 14th over of Pakistan�s innings when Bhandari threw the ball inappropriately towards batter Shahzaib Khan, hitting him on the forearm.

Subash admitted the offense and a maximum 50% penalty will be cut from his match fee. He will be banned for a match if he receives three more demerit points within the next 24 months.

Subash has picked four wickets in three matches so far for Nepal in the ongoing Under-19 World Cup.
