Starc set to join Delhi Capitals for IPL
Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has been cleared to return to cricket and will travel to India to join Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
Starc had been out with elbow and shoulder injuries but is now fit. He is likely to make his season debut on May 1 against Rajasthan Royals.
He is expected to play the remaining matches of the season, including the playoffs if Delhi qualify. Delhi currently have 3 wins and 3 losses and are in fifth place.
Starc had earlier apologized for missing the start of the season due to injury and said he remains committed to the team.
Meanwhile, fellow Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins is also set to return from injury and could play for Sunrisers Hyderabad this weekend.
