President of Chitwan District Cricket Association Sudip Piya passes away

Sudip Piya, President of Chitwan District Cricket Association, passed away on Saturday due to a heart attack at the age of 48.
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Secretary Paras Khadka and various cricket figures shared the sad news of Piya’s demise through social media.
Piya was elected President in 2023 and had been making significant contributions toward the promotion of cricket and the development of players in Chitwan.
He also previously worked in the local media in Chitwan.
