NPL 2025 set to be played under the floodlights
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the schedule for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) with most of the matches set to be played under the floodlights.
The tournament will begin on November 16 at the TU Cricket Ground, where matches will also be played under floodlights for the first time.
The opening match will feature defending champions Janakpur Bolts against Kathmandu Gorkhas, starting at 4 PM.
According to the schedule, 19 league matches, three playoff games, and the final will all be played under lights.
Meanwhile, the 10,000-capacity parapet at the TU Ground has been completed, and the installation of floodlights is in its final stage.
