Nepal to face UAE and Canada in T20 World Cup warm-up fixtures
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule for the official warm-up matches ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka and begins on February 7.
Nepal will play two warm-up games during the window from February 2 to 6, taking on the United Arab Emirates on February 3 at 5:15 pm NPT, followed by a clash against Canada on February 5 at 1:15 pm. Both matches will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
As was the case in the previous edition, Nepal’s warm-up fixtures are scheduled against fellow associate nations. In contrast, the Netherlands and the USA have been handed warm-up matches against full-member sides, with the Dutch set to face Australia and the USA to play New Zealand.
