Nepal name 15-member squad for CWC League 2 tri-series against UAE and USA
Fresh from their unbeaten run in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia and EAP Qualifier, Nepal have announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 series to be held in the UAE.
Nepal are set to face the hosts UAE on October 30 and November 5, while their fixtures against USA are scheduled for October 26 and November 1.
Currently sitting seventh in the League 2 table with five wins and nine losses, Nepal have 12 points to their name. UAE remain at the bottom with six points from three wins in 16 matches, while USA occupy second place with 28 points, having won 14 of their 20 games.
The squad sees the return of Shahab Alam, Bhim Sharki, and Anil Sah, replacing Sundeep Jora, Lokesh Bam, and Aadil Alam from the T20 World Cup Qualifier squad.
