Lumbini defeat Bagmati to stay in hunt of Jay Trophy

Bagmati Province suffered a 34-run defeat against Lumbini Province in their final match of the PM Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament, ending their chances of qualifying for the Jay Trophy.
Chasing 234, Bagmati were bowled out for 199 in 44 overs. Bibek Magar top-scored with 45 runs, while captain Sandeep Lamichhane made 32.
Earlier, Lumbini posted 233 all out, with Akash Tripathi scoring 72.
Nirmal Gurung starred with the ball, taking 5 wickets.
With the win, Lumbini moved to 9 points and kept their Jay Trophy hopes alive, while Bagmati finished with 8 points and dropped out of contention.
