CAN names strong squad for Ireland Wolves series and SMS Friendship Cup

The Cricket Association of Nepal announced its strong squad to play two Twenty20 against Ireland Wolves and an away series, named SMS Friendship Cup, in India.

The series against Ireland Wolves will take place on March 25 and 26 respectively. The venue for the series is yet to be confirmed by the board.

Nepal will kick off the SMS Friendship Cup with a match against Gujarat on 31st March. Nepal will play Gujarat and Baroda twice in the group-stage matches of the 8-day-long event.

Aasif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Kushal Malla came back into the squad after getting a rest in the previous tri-series in Hong Kong.

Binod Bhandari, Lokesh Bam, Aarif Sheikh, Rashid Khan, and Sagar Dhakal are among the players to be left out of the squad. These players are in the preliminary 40-man squad of Nepal ‘A’ for the series against Ireland Wolves.
