Bhim Sarki snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as Rolpa Gorillas put their one foot in the final of the Nepalgunj Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament on Sunday

Bhim, the U-19 cricketer, bowled the final over conceding just a single run and picked up two wickets helping Gorillas eke out a four-run victory over Lumbini Yatris. Gorillas are now at the top of the table with eight points from five matches and will now wait for results from other matches.
Dangali Gorkhas and Yatris are still in the hunt for final as both teams are tied on six points with one match in hand. Bardiya Tigers are still alive with four points from four matches. Banke Blasters and Palpa Yoddhas are out from the final contention.
Electing to bat first at the Kohalpur cricket ground, Gorillas made a challenging 141-7 and at one stage the match looked like slipping out of their grasp when Yatris were inching towards victory with four runs needed from the last over.
But Bhim turned the tide towards Gorillas conceding just one run in the final over and picking up two wickets as Yatris were bundled out for 137 in 19.5 overs.
Man of the match Bhim had also contribued 23 runs in Gorillas innings. Opener Nandan Yadav topscored with 40 off 35 balls smashing three fours and four sixes. Akash Thapa (39) and skipper Saurabh Khanal (27) were other best contributors for Gorillas.
Som Sharma returned miserly figures of 3-9 in his three-over spell while Krishna Karki, Baseer Ahmed and Nijamuddin Halwai took one wicket each for Yatris.
Krishna was the biggest contributor for Yatris making 35 off 30 balls with two hits to the fence and two maximums. Baseer Ahmed scored 24, while Bishal Khatri and Kushal Malla contributed 20 runs each.
Bhim (2-25) and Basant Karki (2-22) shared four wickets between them for Gorillas.
