Anil Kumar Sah hit the fastest half-century by a Nepalese in One Day International surpassing Aasif Sheikh’s record in the second one-dayer against Canada at TU International Cricket Ground.
Anil, who hit 7 cracking boundaries and 3 scintillating sixes in his staggering knock, scored his half-century in just 19 balls and bettered Aasif’s record by 2 balls. Aasif reached the milestone last year in 21 balls against Papua New Guinea. Anil scored his first half-century in his five-innings-long ODI career.
Kushal Malla is third on the list with a half-century off 29 balls against Oman.
