Army to meet Police in final of Prime Minister Cup 2080
Nepal Police Club and Tribhuwan Army Club have booked their place in the final of the Prime Minister Cup National Cricket Tournament.
Bagmati Province and Madhesh Province are slotted in the top four and will be part of the Men’s Elite Trophy, which is expected to take place within April this year. The event will be played in a Two-Day/Three-day format.
The Police have won all their nine league matches to gather 18 points and topped the league standing. The Army collected 14 points, two more than Bagmati – who are placed in third position. The Madhesh made it into the top four with 12 points to their account.
Rohit Paudel-led the Armed Police Force missed out as they were left out in fifth position with 10 points. Koshi and Lumbini Province only won a match and are placed at the bottom of the table.
The final of the event will take place on Saturday at TU International Cricket Ground.
