Nepal beat Italy to finish second in women's challenge trophy

Nepal registered an easy 8-wicket victory over Italy in their final league match of the ICC Women’s Challenge Trophy, played as a 7-over game due to rain.
Batting first, Italy scored 36/6 in 7 overs. Manisha Upadhyay led Nepal’s bowling with 3 wickets, while Kabita Kunwar and Puja Mahato took one wicket each.
In reply, Nepal comfortably chased the target, scoring 40/2 in just 3.3 overs. Puja Mahato top-scored with 13 runs, while Samjhana Khadka and Indu Barma added 9 runs each.
Despite the win, Nepal finished second in the tournament with five wins and three losses, while the USA had already secured the title.
